About Nancy Taylor
I grew up in West Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School. I completed my pre-pharmacy studies at Agnes Scott College and earned my pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in Charleston, where I was honored to be inducted into Rho Chi, the national pharmacy honor society. Today I am advisor for our school’s Rho Chi chapter.
Pharmacy has given me the opportunity to combine science, service, and mentorship, work that I find both meaningful and energizing. I have had many opportunities in pharmacy ranging from owning my own pharmacy, working for an innovative pharmacy practice inside a physician’s office, to teaching at USC College of Pharmacy and now PCSP.
I am married to my husband, Terry, and we live in Laurens, South Carolina. I have two daughters and two grandchildren. I have always loved dogs, and our home is shared with Gracie, our Cairn Terrier, and Reacher, our Goldendoodle.
In my free time, I enjoy sewing, quilting, needlepoint, and playing the piano.
