Dr. Moni Keen is the director of Presbyterian College’s Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) program, bringing more than three decades of clinical and academic experience to her leadership role. A licensed occupational therapist in South Carolina and Texas, Dr. Keen joined PC in 2021 as an adjunct instructor and later served as an associate professor and capstone coordinator before being named director in January 2024.

Dr. Keen earned her undergraduate degree in rehabilitation science from the Medical University of South Carolina, a master’s degree from Boston University, and a clinical doctorate from the University of St. Augustine. Her distinguished clinical career spans hospitals, private practice, and over 27 years in school-based therapy, including her work as founder and president of Developing Abilities Children’s Therapy Services in Summerville.

Her academic appointments include positions at MUSC, Trident Technical College, Baylor University, and the University of St. Augustine. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and a published author on pediatric skills and mental health in occupational therapy.

Dr. Keen is a passionate educator and a dedicated advocate for student success and interprofessional collaboration. She is an active member of campus initiatives including the Justice and Community Well-Being Committee, Presby First+, and the Thomason Library Committee.
