The Beta Pi Chapter was chartered at Presbyterian College in 1924 by six distinguished gentlemen: Bailey, Mason, Knowles, Robinson, Player, and Bomar. The brothers of Beta Pi seek to create a lifetime experience with one another, which centers on reverence to God, Duty, Honor, Character, and Gentlemanly conduct.

The values of the Kappa Alpha Order are Reverence, Gentility, Knowledge, Leadership, Brotherhood, and Excellence. We uphold these values and move forward with the mission of bringing together a group of gentlemen in which these values are reflected. Beta Pi seeks to create leadership opportunities, promote education, and establish a brotherhood for its members that will follow them long after their college days.
