Jeffery Smith ’92
Alumni Engagement CoordinatorJeff Smith first joined Presbyterian College in the mid-2000s as a Major Gifts Officer, working alongside Dr. John Griffith. In 2023, he returned to PC as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator — a role he had long aspired to and one that reflects both a deep personal and professional commitment to the College.
A proud member of the Class of 1992, Jeff enjoys connecting with alumni and hearing their stories, often sharing those experiences to strengthen relationships across the PC community. That connection is truly a family tradition: wife, Kim ’93, and their daughter, Mary Grace ’21, are both PC graduates, while their son, Holt ’28, is a current PC student.
Jeff has a special appreciation for campus traditions such as Opening Convocation, the Legacy Luncheon during freshman move-in, and the Class Ring Ceremony. Fall remains his favorite season, shaped by his experience as a former Blue Hose soccer player. Neville Hall and the front plaza hold particular meaning for Jeff, serving as favorite spaces to reflect on PC’s history and sense of community. Beyond campus, he serves on the Board of Directors for Main Street Clinton.
Rarely seen without PC gear, Jeff is a constant ambassador for the College, often striking up conversations with fellow alumni and friends of PC wherever he goes. He and Kim are honored to be included on the Met & Married Wall in Neville Hall.
When it comes to motivation, AC/DC’s Thunderstruck remains a favorite, bringing back memories of pre-game warmups on The Pondo and fun times at Fraternity Court.
