Jeff Smith, a proud alumnus of Presbyterian College returned to his alma mater as the new Alumni Engagement Coordinator. During his undergraduate years, he distinguished himself as a student-athlete on the Blue Hose Men’s Soccer Team, engaged in Greek life, contributed to Student Volunteer Services, and held leadership roles in student government.
Jeff served as a Major Gifts Officer in the college’s Office of Advancement during the mid‑2000s before transitioning into the private sector. He owned and operated an Allstate insurance agency in Clinton, and later relocated to Virginia to pursue real estate opportunities. Throughout this time, he maintained strong ties to PC by keeping his family home in Clinton in anticipation of returning to his roots.
Jeff is deeply invested in revitalizing Presbyterian’s alumni network. Drawing on his heritage and local ties—he and his wife, Kim Holt Smith ’93, have actively supported the college over the years—he is especially eager to energize local and regional alumni chapters (e.g., Columbia, Greenville, Charlotte). As a Clinton resident, he’s also focused on strengthening the college’s bond with its hometown community.
Jeff and Kim have two children: Mary Grace, a 2021 graduate of PC, and Holt.
