Research or Areas of Specialty
I study medieval languages and literature, primarily focused on death, preparation for death, and the afterlife.
I supervise student research in linguistics and media. More recently, I’ve become interested on the connection between health and urban design, which has led me to write several grants promoting walkability and active living.
