Karen Mattison, MAcc, CPA

Associate Professor of Economics and Business Administration
Business Administration Economics

Master of Accountancy, Auburn University
B.S. Accounting, Clemson University

I enjoy researching new ways to teach accounting and engage students. I visited six Universities and attended 22 classes during my sabbatical in Spring 2025 to further my research. I enjoy working with students on their individual research projects. My Accounting Information Systems class works with a local nonprofit each year to help analyze their financial information and provide insights. I also enjoy being a part of PC’s Service Entrepreneurship program.
