Becky Fortman

Assistant Director of Advancement Services
Advancement

Becky Fortman began working at Presbyterian College in the Advancement Office as a part-time staff member from August 2011 to August 2015. She returned to the College in October 2017 as a full-time member of the Advancement team and has continued serving in the department ever since.

What Becky values most about her role is the close-knit, family atmosphere at PC. She finds purpose in knowing her work supports a community where people genuinely care for one another and collaborate toward a shared mission, making her role both meaningful and rewarding.

Becky’s favorite PC tradition is the Thanksgiving lunch in the dining hall on the Thursday before the holiday, known for its great food and vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor chapel by the pond is her favorite place on campus, offering a peaceful setting to pause and recharge. Fall is her favorite season, when the campus is especially beautiful with its colorful foliage.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and traveling to see them whenever possible. She also enjoys reading, puzzles and games, baking, and playing pickleball.

When she needs a boost of motivation, Becky’s hype song of choice is “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor.
