S.C. Eighth Judicial Circuit family court Judge Jim Todd IV '09.

James Conway “Jim” Todd IV ’09 was recently elected as family court judge for the Eighth Judicial Circuit by the S.C. General Assembly.

The Laurens native is also a graduate of the College of Charleston School of Law and has served in private practice in addition to serving as an assistant solicitor in the Eighth Circuit.

His election by the General Assembly marks a significant milestone in his legal career, as he steps into a role dedicated to handling some of the most complex and personal cases within the judiciary.
