The PC Model UN Team won the best delegation award at the Southern Regional Model UN conference in Charlotte, N.C., from Mar. 20-22. The delegation consisted of 10 students, who participated in the General Assembly, the International Telecommunications Union, the International Court of Justice, and the Security Council. Through the conference, students debated and caucused with students from 32 other colleges and universities primarily from the Southeastern region and passed UN resolutions on a variety of global issues. Model UN is offered as a three credit hour elective through the Political Science and Public Policy Department.
