Experienced enrollment leader brings strategic vision, financial aid expertise to Presbyterian College

Presbyterian College has named Jared Menghini as the college’s new vice president of enrollment management, bringing to the institution more than 15 years of experience in admissions, financial aid, strategic enrollment planning, and student success initiatives.
Menghini most recently served as vice president of enrollment management at Wilkes University, where he led strategic planning and enrollment efforts across undergraduate, graduate, and international programs while overseeing financial aid strategy, recruitment operations, and enrollment analytics.
In his new role at Presbyterian College, Menghini will serve on the president’s cabinet and oversee undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid, recruitment strategy, retention initiatives, and student yield efforts. The position is designed to help guide long-term enrollment growth while supporting the college’s mission and academic priorities.
Menghini said Presbyterian College’s mission and student-centered approach immediately stood out during the search process.
“I was drawn to Presbyterian College because of its strong commitment to student-centered education and its clear sense of purpose — developing graduates who are not only academically prepared, but also engaged, thoughtful contributors to their communities,” Menghini said.
He said he looks forward to building relationships across campus and helping advance the college’s strategic goals.
“I’m energized by the chance to collaborate across campus, build on existing momentum, and develop innovative strategies that align enrollment goals with the institution’s values and long-term vision,” he said. “Most importantly, I’m looking forward to being part of a community that is deeply invested in student success and shaping the future of the college together.”
Jared brings an impressive combination of strategic enrollment expertise, collaborative leadership, and a deep understanding of the transformative power of a liberal arts education. He understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with students and families while also using data-informed strategies to help institutions thrive in a rapidly changing higher education landscape.”
Dr. Anita Gustafson, President
Before becoming vice president at Wilkes University, Menghini served in several progressively senior leadership positions at King’s College and Wilkes, including executive director of student financial services, associate vice president of enrollment management, director of financial aid, and director of transfer enrollment.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in enrollment analytics, financial aid leveraging, predictive modeling, and strategic recruitment planning. His experience also includes oversight of multimillion-dollar financial aid programs and collaboration with faculty, athletics, student affairs, and alumni relations to strengthen recruitment and retention efforts.
PC president Dr. Anita Gustafson said Menghini’s experience and leadership style make him a strong fit for Presbyterian College’s mission and future direction.
“Jared brings an impressive combination of strategic enrollment expertise, collaborative leadership, and a deep understanding of the transformative power of a liberal arts education,” Gustafson said. “He understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with students and families while also using data-informed strategies to help institutions thrive in a rapidly changing higher education landscape.
“At Presbyterian College, our close-knit community and commitment to excellence in education are at the heart of everything we do. Jared’s experience, energy, and student-centered approach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels will help us continue attracting and supporting students who will flourish academically, personally, and professionally.”
Menghini has remained active in national and regional higher education organizations throughout his career, including the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, where he currently serves as president.
He has also presented nationally on enrollment strategy, leadership development, and financial aid operations.
For Menghini, however, the appeal of Presbyterian College ultimately came down to people and purpose.
“Joining Presbyterian College as vice president for enrollment management is both an honor and an opportunity,” he said. “The combination of a close-knit campus environment, dedicated faculty, and a mission-driven approach to education really stood out to me.”
