Visiting Assistant Professor of History

The Department of History at Presbyterian College is accepting applications for a one-year (with possibility of renewal for up to three years) Visiting Assistant Professor of History, beginning Fall 2026. Ability to teach upper-level courses in US and African-American History, demonstrated successful teaching experience, and a commitment to undergraduate teaching are required. Outside fields in Women’s History and/or Southern History preferred. Ph.D. required, but ABDs at time of application will be considered.
