Presbyterian College senior Isis Trapp sees the world differently now. As a social media intern in Presbyterian College’s Marketing office, she’s always searching for the perfect shot—those special moments showing the vibrancy of campus.

But her keen eye for capturing campus life reflects something deeper: a transformation that happened over four years at PC. It’s where she discovered more than her vision. PC is where she also found her voice, her power, and her purpose.

Growing Through Every Opportunity

“PC has helped me become a confident young woman who feels ready to take on whatever the world will throw my way,” says Isis, an English major with a concentration in Communication Studies. That confidence didn’t come from just one experience—it came from embracing every opportunity to grow.

Serving as senior captain of the competitive cheerleading team taught Isis what it means to rally together and lead with conviction. As a student ambassador and tour guide, she discovered the art of meaningful connection, welcoming prospective students and sharing her story.

Serving Something Greater

But it’s behind the camera where Isis found her creative stride. Her days as a social media intern begin with discussions about weekly goals, brainstorming content ideas, and then bringing those visions to life through creation and editing for PC’s platforms. The experience pushed her beyond technical skills in photography and video editing—it taught her to step outside her comfort zone.

“I’ve developed more confidence when it comes to asking other people to take part in the creation of our content,” she shares.

Through this work, Isis learned a crucial lesson about serving something bigger than herself.

“While my perspective may be taken into consideration, there is an overall goal,” Isis explains. “That goal is to maintain PC’s image, if not strengthen it.”

She understands now that strong brands need consistency and recognition across all touchpoints—a philosophy that extends beyond marketing and into understanding how individual contributions build something greater when united by shared values.

How PC Shaped Isis’s Path

Her favorite class, Medieval Women Mystics, exemplifies the unexpected discoveries waiting at PC. Her most valuable education, however, might have come from learning to communicate with all different types of people in ways that help everyone achieve their goals together.

Now, as graduation approaches in 2026, Isis is ready for her next chapter: pursuing a career in social media marketing while continuing her modeling journey. The skills she’s developed—the communication, the creativity, the confidence—have set her up for success in ways she once only imagined.

PC has truly set me up on the best path for my future and I couldn’t be more thankful. Go True Blue!
