Anne Austin Young is one of the most honored female doctors in South Carolina. She was the first female obstetrician/gynecologist in the state. Campus Housing at Presbyterian College, Part 1

For many years the norm for campus housing at most colleges was one smallish room with at least one roommate and a bathroom down the hall shared with dozens of others. Students today, at Presbyterian College and on most other college campuses, have housing options that would have amazed the students of just a few decades ago, such as the single rooms of Senior Hall or the apartments of the Townhouses. Chick Galloway, PC’s First Major Leaguer

Clarence Edward “Chick” “Galloway was born on August 4, 1896, in Manning, South Carolina. His family later moved to Clinton, where Chick attended Clinton High School and was a standout in several sports. In 1914, he entered Presbyterian College, where he went on to earn all-state honors in baseball, basketball, and football. During the summers, he also played textile league baseball. – Read More –
