Reunion Giving

Join us for an unforgettable Reunion Weekend

Reunion Weekend will take place during Homecoming Weekend on October 18, 19 and 20. It’s the perfect chance to catch up with friends from PC and rediscover the place where you found yourself and your community.

This year we’ll honor the Class of 1974 as they celebrate their 50th reunion as well as classes ending in 4 and 9. The Neville Lawn Party on Friday evening, the 50th Year Reunion Class Luncheon, and the True Blue Tailgate are a few traditional events you can look forward to! Other events for reunion classes will be announced before the end of summer.

Reunion Weekend is more than just a gathering. It’s also an opportunity to revisit the strong foundation you built as a student and think about how you can extend the same opportunities to the next generation of Blue Hose. A reunion gift is one way to help future PC students. PC continues to evolve, and as PC grows, your support is greatly appreciated.

Join your fellow classmates in marking your milestone reunion by supporting PC.

Celebrate your 50th Reunion by creating a legacy for current and future Blue Hose.

Planned gifts to the College are counted in the donor’s 50th Reunion Class Gift.

Enhance Your Gift

MULTI-YEAR PLEDGE

You can boost the impact of your reunion gift by pledging for multiple years. Your pledge, for up to five years, will contribute to your class gift. If you’re an alumni spouse from a different reunion year, your pledge benefits both classes. It’s a remarkable way to leave a double legacy.  If you are interested in committing to a multi-year pledge of any kind, please contact Jeff Smith in the Alumni Office for more information.

NAMED SCHOLARSHIP

When you create a named scholarship, you actively support students in a way that resonates with your passions and values. By choosing specific criteria and preferences, you create a scholarship that carries personal significance and has a positive impact on the life of a PC student.

If you are interested in creating a scholarship, in your name, or as a tribute to someone close to you, there are two options.

  1. Endowed Scholarships ($50,000, payable over 5 years) generate investment income and provide permanent support to PC students.
  2. Annual Named Scholarships ($2,500 per year) provide immediate support. Your gift is used in its entirety, and the fund is viable as long as you continue to make annual contributions.

To learn more about scholarships, contact Jason Boice, AVP of Advancement, for more information.

RECURRING GIFTS

Easily manage sizable donations by setting up a recurring gift. More than a donation, a recurring gift is a commitment that fits into your budget. It’s your chance to make an enormous difference, piece by piece. For example, a Leadership Level gift is any annual commitment of at least $1,000, which equals $83.50 per month. This impactful gift is simple to arrange: Set it up online or reach out to your class liaison. Your support is invaluable!

MATCHING GIFTS

Elevate your generosity to PC by leveraging your company or organization’s gift-matching program. This initiative can multiply your gift two or threefold. If you’re not sure whether your company offers such a program, reach out to your company’s HR department or email advancement@presby.edu. Together, we can make your contribution to PC go even further!

REUNION VOLUNTEERS

Reunion Volunteers help with planning any specific functions for your specific class during the Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. Volunteers could help with dinners, meet-ups, and tailgates, for example. Reunion Volunteers encourage attendance at Homecoming by reaching out to their classmates, and they advocate for the Reunion Giving Campaign by encouraging donations from your class. If interested in being a Reunion Volunteer, please contact Jeff Smith in  Alumni Relations.
