GIVING DAY 2021

Giving Day is a 24-hour campaign, inspired by our Founder’s decision and dream to establish a College. In 1874, WPJ knew that time, money and community were needed to accomplish his goal. This is still true today and the PC Community is inspired to join together to ensure the future of our beloved institution. Students, Alumni, Faculty, Staff and Friends, join together on May 26th as one family!

GIVING DAY CHALLENGES

EARLY BIRD CHALLENGE

The donor who makes the first gift on Giving Day will receive a PC Swag Bag! Have your computer or phone ready to go at 11:59 pm on 5/25/2021. All gifts must be given to one of the following funds to qualify: PC Fund, PC Scholarship Fund, the Scotsman Club Scholarship Fund, the Student-Athlete Experience Fund, or the School of Pharmacy Annual Fund.

EAST TO WEST AND AROUND THE WORLD

Last year on Giving Day, PC received a gift from 32 different states. This year, Les Pue ’56 is challenging alumni, families, faculty, staff, and friends from the East Coast to the West Coast to give on Giving Day. Mr. Pue will generously give $200 for every state represented on Giving Day. Join fellow Blue Hose from across the country and help PC unlock up to $10,000 in scholarship support for our current students.

1880 CHALLENGE

Collectively the Board of Trustees has come together to challenge the whole PC community, inspired by the year PC was founded. $100,000 will be unlocked if 1,880 donations are made on Giving Day. When 1,880 donations are made on 5.26.21 the Board of Trustees will give a combined gift of $100,000.00. Last year over 1,500 donations were made on Giving Day. Let’s come together to surpass this number and meet our goal inspired by our founding year.

WPJ | Giving Day | Giving | Presbyterian College | Clinton SC

“I have at last set my heart on a plan, the complete fulfillment of which I desire to commemorate my twentieth anniversary at Clinton. It is nothing more nor less than the establishment of a College at Clinton. It will take a vast outlay of time and money but it can be done and, God willing, it shall be done. I have been thus explicit because I have hereby resolved to establish a college in the town of Clinton.”

– WILLIAM PLUMER JACOBS, 1874
