NEXT STEPS

Congratulations on being accepted to PC!
Now that you’re in, here are the next steps to becoming a PC student.

1.
FINANCIAL AID

Please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so that you can qualify for federal loans and need-based grant programs. Add Presbyterian College (FAFSA Code: 003445) to your list of FAFSA recipients.

2.
OFFER OF ADMISSION

Now, THIS is important. Once you make the incredible choice to be a Blue Hose, it’s time to log in to the student portal and accept your admission offer. Now get excited! You’re almost official!

What to do: Scroll to the bottom of the page to the section labeled “Forms” and click on “Reply to Offer of Admission.” Now, select “Accept Offer” and sign your name.

3.
ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT

Once you accept your offer of admission, you’ll be prompted to pay your (non-refundable) enrollment deposit. Later in the spring, this step unlocks your access to academic advising, class registration, and your housing assignment.

4.
GET PLUGGED IN

It’s time to meet and greet other accepted PC students. Get to know your soon-to-be classmates. Download the ZeeMee app, follow Presbyterian College, and join the Accepted Student Community.

5.
VISIT CAMPUS

This is your chance to see why people are talking about Presbyterian College. During your visit, you’ll go on a campus tour, meet some of your future classmates and professors, and see why it’s good to be a Blue Hose.

6.
FIND A ROOMMATE

Once you submit your enrollment deposit, the Office of Residence Life will provide your login credentials for our roommate matching system, Please Don’t Snore. Create your profile highlighting any academic/extracurricular interests, study habits, and most importantly, your sleeping preferences. Our system will match to those who fit best. Take your time browsing and then pick the best candidate.

7.
ACADEMIC ADVISING

It’s time to take the next step and find your academic adviser by completing the advising questionnaire on your Student Portal. In addition to helping you select classes, this individual will be available to help answer any questions you may have.

8.
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

New Student Orientation is the next leg of your journey and is required for all new students. This year, NSO will include one virtual session and one in-person session. Log in to your Student Portal to learn more about NSO and to register for the event!

9.
HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT

After graduation, be sure to send your final transcript and any necessary paperwork to us for review. You can also email it to admissions@presby.edu or mail a physical copy to the following address:

REQUIRED FORMS

In addition to finding a roommate and packing for the fall, there are a few more tasks for you to check off your list this summer. Log in to your Student Portal to complete our required forms before you arrive on campus.

GET PACKED

It’s time to get packed and get moving. All your questions regarding on-campus living can be found by visiting the Office of Residence Life.

12.
GO, BLUE HOSE!

This is the most important step of all: As a PC student, take advantage of the opportunities around you for you to succeed. The entire PC Family is in YOUR corner!
