Presbyterian College students can seek medical care on and off-campus. While the location of the services depends on the time that care is needed, all medical care is provided in partnership with Family Healthcare of Clinton (FHC).

On-Campus Medical Care

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, on-campus Student Health Services is operating by appointment only to appropriately manage those entering and exiting the building. Students must call to make an appointment to seek medical care. Walk-ins are not allowed at this time.
Nurse practitioner Jacquelyn Waldron, RN, CS, FNP provides medical care on campus. Health services provided by the nurse practitioner must be satisfied by insurance or some other method of payment.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Doctor Appointments: 8:00 a.m. – noon, and 2:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Lab Appointments: 7:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

For emergencies after hours or on weekends, go to the local emergency room or call 9-1-1.
Laurens County Memorial Hospital is the closest hospital for emergencies.
It is located eight miles from campus.

Medical Forms

Religious Immunization Waiver: Students may request a waiver from these immunization requirements on the basis of a sincerely held religious belief. Through Self Regional, FHC provides a team of family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and specialists. They all work together for your health and well-being. As a PC student, you have access to advanced diagnostics, specialty services and the resources of the area’s largest healthcare system.
Family Healthcare of Clinton and Self Regional have board-certified physicians in family medicine and board-certified nurse practitioners. We believe that patients should receive more than just a medical diagnosis from their medical provider; patients want personalized care provided by a family practitioner. The medical staff feels that it is important for individuals to have a medical home, where a level of comfort, communication and trust can be established.
