PC adopts test-optional admissions policy

PC has adopted a test-optional admissions policy, joining more than 850 colleges and universities across the nation.

“Adopting a test-optional policy makes sense for Presbyterian College as our holistic approach to college admissions has never centered on standardized tests,” said Brian Fortman, PC’s Dean of Enrollment Management.

Fortman says that an applicant’s high school performance, strength of curriculum, and community engagement are much better indicators of how a student will perform at PC.

The policy is effective immediately for students seeking to enter PC in the fall of 2014.
