Education-Dept-Film-Series-Poster-2014The Presbyterian College Education Department is hosting a free documentary series for the 2014-2015 school year. The series is open to the public and begins on Monday, August 25th with “The Lottery” (2010), directed by Madeleine Sackler. The purpose of the series is to share films about topics in education that foster dialogue and reflection.

Films will be shown from 6-8p.m. in the Harrington-Peachtree Center, Room 214 on PC’s campus. Audience members are invited to participate in a discussion of the film following the screening and will be encouraged to submit written reviews to extend the conversation, make additional connections, and explore the impact of the movie on their views of education. The winner from each month’s review competition will be treated to a free meal at Steamer’s Cafe in Clinton!
