Pig Out with the Pi’s

Alpha Delta Pi hosted its first annual Pig Out with the Pi’s on September 18th to benefit the sorority’s philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities. The event was held on the Alumni Green and included a BBQ dinner by Clinton’s own Steamer’s Café and other activities such as cornhole, Pie a Pi, and a raffle.

adpiWhile the beautiful weather and delicious food created a fun atmosphere for those in attendance, raising money for such a good cause made the event a great way to spend a Thursday afternoon. “It was great to see how all of PC helped ADPi support the Ronald McDonald House through great food and fellowship,” said Charlotte McElroy, PC junior and ADPi member.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is an international charity that provides families with meals and a place to call home while their child is hospitalized, giving families the opportunity to focus solely on their child’s health during this trying time. Pig Out with the Pi’s is just one of many campus events that exemplifies how students live out PC’s motto, Dum Vivimus Servimus, or While We Live We Serve.
