What did you do after you graduated?

I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at PRISMA Health Baptist Hospital on the Oncology/MedSurg/Hospice floor.

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

I volunteered at PETSinc. in Columbia, South Carolina to help build the new dog kennels.

How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?

From a young age, I always thought the medical field was very interesting. I had some experiences with Physician Assistants while being in the hospital and it sparked my interest. Ever since then, I have made it my dream to become a PA.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

I enjoy hiking, bowling, volleyball, and listening to music. I spend a lot of time with my dog and traveling to new places.

Please include any family information if you’d like.

Please let us know about anything weird, quirky, or unusual that you’d like to share.

Why do you want to be a PA?

I want to be a PA because I strive to help people all of the time. I love to see the positive outcomes of patients who are suffering and being able to assist in their recovery and treatment.

Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?

I chose the Physician Assistant program at Presbyterian College because of the class size and school size. I came from a highly populated public school and I wanted to experience the smaller school for my graduate degree. I like what Presbyterian College stands for and their values.
