What did you do after you graduated?

I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at PRISMA Health Baptist Hospital on the Oncology/MedSurg/Hospice floor.

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

I volunteered at PETSinc. in Columbia, South Carolina to help build the new dog kennels.

How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?

From a young age, I always thought the medical field was very interesting. I had some experiences with Physician Assistants while being in the hospital and it sparked my interest. Ever since then, I have made it my dream to become a PA.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

I enjoy hiking, bowling, volleyball, and listening to music. I spend a lot of time with my dog and traveling to new places.

Why do you want to be a PA?

I want to be a PA because I strive to help people all of the time. I love to see the positive outcomes of patients who are suffering and being able to assist in their recovery and treatment.

Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?

I chose the Physician Assistant program at Presbyterian College because of the class size and school size. I came from a highly populated public school and I wanted to experience the smaller school for my graduate degree. I like what Presbyterian College stands for and their values.
