Preparation for law school is a demanding process for many students. The Pre-law Program at PC aims to educate and advise our students – both inside and outside of the classroom – about law school and the legal profession and enable them to develop the skills necessary to be successful as law school applicants, students, and graduates.

Presbyterian College offers two options to students interested in pre-law:

  1. The Pre-law Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary minor that includes courses in economics, English, history, philosophy, political science and public speaking that are designed for a concentration in legal studies; and
  2. Personalized guidance and counseling from the Pre-law Advisor, who works with students one-on-one to provide advice on undergraduate coursework, internships, the law school application process and LSAT preparation, among others.  Students do not need to be Pre-law Studies minors in order to benefit from these advising sessions. All majors are welcome!

Feel free to contact the Pre-law Advisor, Dr. Erin McAdams, at (864) 833-8347 or esmcadams@presby.edu for additional information.
