Financial Aid for Physician Assistant Studies Program

Qualified students enrolled in Presbyterian College’s Physician Assistant Studies Program are eligible for financial aid. Typically, only loans are available to finance educational expenses.

Presbyterian College participates in the following loan programs for Physician Assistant Studies Program students:

  • Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan
  • Federal Graduate Direct PLUS Loan
  • Private/Alternative loan(through a lender of the student’s choosing)

Direct Student Loans can be borrowed through the Direct Loan Program. Graduate students have additional annual and aggregate loan limits over undergraduate students. Graduate and professional degree students are now eligible to borrow under the Federal Graduate Direct PLUS Loan Program up to their cost of attendance minus other estimated financial assistance. Private/Alternative loans can be used by students who may not qualify for the Federal Loans or wish to borrow from a different source.

Students may fill out the Direct Deposit form for their tuition refund and information.

Applying for Financial Aid

Physician Assistant Studies Program students can begin the process of applying for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Graduate PLUS Loan application. Students are requested to complete the FAFSA by Presbyterian College’s priority funding date of March 1st. The FAFSA is available each year beginning October 1st.  Students without completed tax returns can estimate the income information and then update the FAFSA once taxes are completed.
