Michael and I met at Homecoming 2005. After finishing law school in Birmingham and tax specialization in Washington, D.C., he had moved back to Spartanburg to practice. I was living in Columbia, working on domestic violence programs for Attorney General Henry McMaster. Although we shared one or two friends, without PC connecting us I don’t know that we would have had an opportunity to meet.

We married almost a year later and have lived in Spartanburg ever since. Life with our daughter (Mary Soutter, 7) and son (Michael, 5) is wild and crazy in a normal and boring sort of way. We are thankful for all of our days at Presbyterian College, but especially for October 22nd at the Kappa Alpha house.
