Tom Free – Bell Tower Society

Current Board of Trustee member and PC alumnus Tom Free ’91 is advancing to the Bell Tower Society in the William Plumer Jacobs Society this year. A retired firefighter in Safety Harbor, Fla., Tom has committed his life to service, a motto he learned while a student at PC.

Since graduation, Tom’s unwavering support has given countless students and athletes alike the opportunity to learn, grow and be successful. Through the years, Tom has given to the PC Fund, Scotsman Club Scholarship Fund, the athletic department, ROTC and most recently the campaign to restore our beloved Neville Hall.

In 2014, Tom established the Patriot Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to veterans who served in combat and were honorably discharged or to their children. Tom graduated from PC in 1991 with a degree in sociology. He has served and currently serves on several local boards as well as serving in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger.
