Presbyterian College Alumnus to speak on Entrepreneurship

Kevin Maloney, a 1999 Business graduate of Presbyterian College will return to campus to discuss entrepreneurship. The lecture will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22 in Edmunds Hall. Maloney is co-founder of ZVerse Inc., a 3D Printing Partnership, a company in Columbia, S.C.

ZVerse is a applications company focused on accelerating the creation of meaningful 3D printable content. With the LAYR 3D Content Creation Platform, ZVerse is creating a suite of software applications that make any 2D content 3D printable. Since being founded in 2012, ZVerse’s technology has brought meaningful, high-quality 3D printed content to brands and organizations all over the world. ZVerse is making the world’s content 3D printable.

Maloney’s company is licensed with more than 36 collegiate organizations, including the University of Notre Dame and University of Oregon. He will speak on his experience launching the business in 2013.
