Department of Music prepares for 19th Annual Christmas at PC concert

The angelic voices and captivating musical performances of the Presbyterian College department of music continue its revered tradition of hosting the annual “Christmas at PC” concert to celebrate the holiday season.

The annual holiday concert is one of the year’s most enjoyable arts events, bringing together student vocal and instrumentalists performers who will showcase a semester’s worth of preparation and training to entertain people of all ages.

The 2017 Christmas at PC will, for the first time, include an ensemble of choir alumni of the Christmas at PC programs which began in 1999. Along with their friends and fellow singers, these outstanding PC graduates will take the stage joining with current PC musicians and Conductor Porter Stokes in a joyous celebration of PC and Christmas spirit. Music sung by the combined forces will represent the multiple generations of PC students that have taken part in the 19 years of this PC tradition. 2017 will also mark the last year for Conductor Porter Stokes as he will retire after 20 years of service to Presbyterian College. This will be an event for the ages and all are invited to attend this historic performance.
