“I immediately felt accepted”
Sydney De Jong’s PC story begins like many PC students’ and alumni’s stories.
“I chose PC because I immediately felt accepted the minute I stepped foot on campus,” Sydney said. “I realized that this was the place I would call home for the next four years.”
Now a rising senior, Sydney has found her place at PC: She’s majoring in psychology and is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, Greenhose, and Campus Outreach.
During her time at PC, Sydney has found out what it means to be a part of the PC Family.
“Every single person I have talked to– whether an alum, current student, or a visitor — has always said how much PC feels like a family,” Sydney said.
She feels the closeness of the PC Family in the classroom with her professors and with her friends on campus.
“I know that if I ever need help with anything, there’s always someone who can help me, whether it’s a professor, staff member, or a friend,” she says.
Because of you, Sydney can experience being part of the PC Family.
Give today so that Sydney and future PC students can continue to receive a PC education in the place that feels like home.
