PC Alumni Association honors outstanding peers during 2021 Homecoming celebration

The Presbyterian College Alumni Association honored some of its most prestigious schoolmates Saturday during Homecoming Weekend festivities.

In addition to welcoming members of the Classes of 1970 and 1971 into the Ben Hay Hammet Society, the association presented its annual awards to an outstanding group of recipients. Because last year’s awards ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s announced award winners were recognized in person this fall.

Award recipients are:

  • Scott Bunting – Honorary Alumnus
  • Ray Bunting – Honorary Alumnus
  • Dee Nichols – Honorary Alumna
  • Susan Raynal – Honorary Alumna
  • David Taylor ’81 – Dum Vivimus Servimus Award
  • Jim Harrison ’80 – Dum Vivimus Servimus Award
  • Harold “BoBo” Beasley ’78 – Mary F. Lehman Alumni Service Award
  • Ann Taylor Morgan ’81 – Thomas Aurelius Stallworth ’55 Alumni Award
  • Frank King ’64 – Mike Turner ’48 Scotsman Club Award
  • Whitney Harrison ’07 – Outstanding Young Alumna Award
  • Jack Jenkins ’07 – Outstanding Young Alumnus Award
  • Louis Powell ’63 – Alumni Gold P Award

In addition, Brian Barnwell ’06 was installed as the new Alumni Board president by 2020-21 president Kathryn Owen Hix ’00 and executive director of strategic initiatives Leni Patterson ’83.
