Marissa Grodzicki is a senior early childhood education major who has worked at the Thornwell Home for Children since her sophomore year in college. For 2 years, she worked as a tutor in the 4K-5K after school program. This year, she is a PC “big sister” and spends time with her Thornwell “little sister” for at least an hour a week. She also visits other students at Thornwell and takes them on outings. Last year, she took one of the 4-year-old students home with her for Thanksgiving so he could celebrate the holidays with her family.
