Academic Resources & Support
You'll get the academic resources and support you need to succeed in the classroom
As a small college, Presbyterian College is able to provide students with the opportunity to get to know their professors and excel in their classes. If you find yourself struggling in a subject, speak to your professor and your academic advisor. You’ll see that they truly want you to succeed and are willing to help.
If you need additional assistance, there are resources and programs available to help you as well. Student success is our goal. From making accommodations for you to setting up a writing tutor to work with you, you will have access to resources to make sure you succeed.
Accessible Education
If you require accommodations for a disability or accessibility, let us know, and our team will work with you to ensure you get the resources you need. At PC, you’ll find that we make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities and to assist students in obtaining their education.
First-generation Program
If you strive to become the first in your family to graduate from college, you’ll fit right in at PC since more than one out of three students are first-generation students. Our Presby First+ program is here to help guide, support, encourage, and cheer you on as you learn to navigate the college environment on your way to earning your college degree.
Subject Tutoring
Need help in a particular subject? You’ll have access to tutoring in major subjects such as business, foreign language, history, math, and science.
Writing Center
If you need help with your writing, a tutor will be available to provide the help you need. Writing tutors help you with any writing assignment in any subject area and at any stage of development.
Academic Coaching
Students who want additional academic support have access to one-on-one academic coaching for help with study techniques, time management, and other skills that will help them succeed in college courses.
