What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?

Softball, FCA

What did you do after you graduated?

I began working at an outpatient physical therapy center as a physical therapist support tech. I then worked as an EKG Monitor Tech in the ICU, and then as a medical assistant at a pain management clinic.

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

Valiant Player through PRISMA Health in Greenville, SC

How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?

Valiant Player is an amazing organization that allows athletes to give back to the community in ways that impact the lives of children in PRISMA’s ICU. Sports is more than a game and I loved to give back any way that I could.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

Fishing, reading, exercise, softball

Please include any family information if you’d like.

My husband and I have a little boy, who loves Mickey Mouse and baseball.

Why do you want to be a PA?

I feel called to the higher responsibility of being a medical provider, while also maintaining personal relationships with each of my patients. With a family, a lifestyle-career balance is a necessity for me, and as a PA that balance is available. I also love that the body was created to intertwine so specifically, so learning how to correct it while being an advocate for my patients, is why I want to be a PA.

Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?

PC feels like home, simple as that. The staff truly want you to succeed and will do whatever it takes for you to learn the material and be the best PA you can be.
