What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?

Alpha Delta Pi, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Beta Beta Beta Honor Society, Presby First-Gen, Club Volleyball, Intramural Sports

What did you do after you graduated?

I worked as a phlebotomy technician my senior year of college and through the summer after graduation. I also spent time with my family and my two dogs before I moved in for school!

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

I volunteered at the NGASC in Columbia and Shriners Hospital for Children Outpatient Clinic.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

I love playing the guitar and going on long walks!

Please let us know about anything weird, quirky, or unusual that you’d like to share.

I accidentally named my two dogs after trees (Olive and maple).

Why do you want to be a PA?

I knew I wanted to go into the field of medicine ever since my dad was very ill during my senior year of high school. Seeing all of the the healthcare providers in the ICU collaborating on his individual treatment plan and consulting with us as his family was very reassuring during that time. They were all what I aspired to be one day and that’s why I chose to become a PA. I want to be a PA to build connections with patients and their families—just like my dad’s team did with my family.

Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?

It was where I attended undergrad and I couldn’t envision myself going anywhere other than PC! Go Blue Hose!
