Liberty University, ’22, Magna Cum Laude
Major: Biomedical Sciences

What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?
Pre-Med Club at Liberty
What did you do after you graduated?
After graduating, I worked in a Dermatology clinic as a medical assistant/scribe as well as working as an EMT (in non-medical transport as well as 911 EMS). Moreover, before PA school started I “retired” from working for 2 months and went to the beach for a week and then flew to Germany for 9 days to visit my brother and his wife and we explored Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg!
If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.
I volunteered as an EMT 48 hours each month for 2 and 1/2 years with Appomattox County Volunteer Rescue Squad (ACVRS) in Appomattox, VA. Also, I volunteered with Hyland Heights Baptist Church Food Pantry, in Rustburg, VA, once a week for a little over a year while I was a student at Liberty.
How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?
While a student at Liberty, I was given the opportunity to take a course for an EMT certification through ACVRS. After receiving my certification, I became a member of ACVRS and volunteered several times each month and enjoyed the adrenaline rush as well.
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy playing golf, watching action thriller movies, and going to church!
Please include any family information if you’d like.
My parents are Michael and Sandra. I have one older brother, Caleb, and 2 younger siblings Ethan and
Sydney.
Please let us know about anything weird, quirky, or unusual that you’d like to share.
My fun fact about myself is that I have only had one headache in my life! Also, August of 2023 was the first time I flew in an airplane and it was a direct flight to Germany taking over 8 hours!
Why do you want to be a PA?
I want to be a PA because why would anyone want to choose any other career?! But more on a serious note, I feel called by GOD to serve others as a medical provider as I have been served as a patient in the past. Also, I can be indecisive in choices and as a PA, lateral mobility between specialties was appealing!
Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?
I choose Presbyterian College’s PA program because its values and mission aligns with my personal Christian values. After interviewing at several other programs, I felt as if the faculty really tried to get to know me during the interview compared to other programs that I had interviewed at and PC felt like home!
