What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?

CURE, Delight, Association of Pre-Physician Assistant Students, Exercise Science Club

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

I volunteered at the South Carolina Autism Academy in Columbia by helping with after school social groups. I volunteer annually with the Ducks Unlimited Chapter in Saluda, S.C., by helping host a banquet to raise money for wetland conservation. I also volunteer at my church, Radius Saluda. We feed our district teachers every year, distribute food to school children for the weekend and help the community in various other ways.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

My favorite things to do include hanging out on the lake or the river, baking and trying out new recipes, and playing with my dog and two pet chickens.

Please include any family information if you’d like.

I come from a very loving and close family. My parents are my biggest supporters and have encouraged me every step of the way. I also have an older brother who has the most adorable 4-year old daughter, a younger sister, as well as a younger brother who passed away in January 2020. I am also blessed with an amazing fiance, Tanner.

Why do you want to be a PA?

Nothing excites me more than having the knowledge to help someone else.

Why did you choose the Presbyterian College PA Program?

I first visited PC my junior year of high school when I came to Girls State. I also visited my friends who attended PC several times throughout my undergraduate years. Each time, I felt at home. Once the PA program was established, I worked as hard as I could to make sure I could attend. PC was the only program I applied to so I know this is where I’m supposed to be.
