What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?
Relay For Life Community Engagement Chair
What did you do after you graduated?
I didn’t know what I wanted to do right after graduating in 2017, so, I secured an internship in minority health research focusing on health literacy and education. After that, I worked in pediatric genetics, where I was first introduced to the PA profession. I decided to get more hands-on experience for my PA application, by working as an inpatient oncology PCT and a clinical trials coordinator in lung disease.
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I love singing and traveling.
Why do you want to be a PA?
The first time I worked with PA’s I was impressed with their skillset and knowledge. At the time, I worked in genetics (which is a very small medical field) and I was impressed with the clinical and professional opportunities they had as PA’s.
Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?
I decided on PC because I wanted to attend a program that was not too big. After touring, I loved the atmosphere and talking to the students.
