What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?

Peer-Tutor for Organic Chemistry, member of the Pre-Physician Assistant Club, member of the Ultimate Frisbee Team, member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of Student Government Association.

What did you do after you graduated?

Shortly after I graduated I was accepted into Presbyterian’s Physician Assistants program so I continued to work as an EMT until the program started.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

The outdoors, including hiking, hunting, and fishing. Working out, sports, spending time with family, and spending time at church.

Please let us know about anything weird, quirky, or unusual that you’d like to share.

In my free time I practice taxidermy.

Why do you want to be a PA?

I want to be a PA because I genuinely enjoy helping others. I worked as an EMT prior to attending PA school and enjoyed the relationship formed with patients. As an EMT I felt as if I could only do so much. To further that education and those relationships I turned my eye to the PA profession and have wanted to become one since.

Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?

I really enjoyed their interview process. It was very welcoming and comfortable. After the first couple minutes during the process it was evident they cared about me as a person and truly wanted to get to know me as a person rather than my achievements. The sincerity shown is what made me want to be a part of this program.
