Ennis and Dru James – President’s Society

Ennis and Dru James – President’s Society

Ennis ’72 and Dru ’73 James were inducted into the William Plumer Jacobs Society in 2012. The Jameses have lived the College’s motto since their time at PC. They have given of their time, talents and philanthropy to the College and have advanced to the President’s Society in the WPJ Society this year.

They supported the Richardson Hall renovations and the addition of a new science hall wing, now known as Lassiter Hall. A student-faculty research lab dedicated to Dr. Nolan Carter is named in honor of their gift.

Furthering their commitment to the sciences, the Jameses were also generous donors to the Pharmacy Founders Campaign. Their most recent gift to the Neville Renewed Campaign assisted with the renovations and extension of our beloved Neville Hall, having a classroom named in honor of their gift.

We are thankful for Dru and Ennis James and are proud they are advancing to the President’s Society in the William Plumer Jacobs Society. Ennis earned a degree in biology from PC and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a retired cardiologist, having practiced at Piedmont Cardiology Associates in Greenwood. Dru is a retired physical therapist, having attended PC two years and then earning her degree in physical therapy from Georgia State University.
