Lee and I met as Sociology majors at PC. We started dating in March 1993 when she cleverly asked me out without ever “asking me out”. I was immediately taken with how clever she was, her great sense of humor, her warmth and sincerity, and awestruck by her beauty.

After graduation in 1994, we both moved to Atlanta to start our careers. I surprised her with a proposal in April 1995, and we married in her hometown of Albany, GA on May 18, 1996. Our wedding party and service had 12 (including us) PC alums and students, plus a former Board of Visitors member (my father who performed the service, Rev. Dr. Walter Jones). We’ve now been married 23 wonderful years, and are proud parents to William (20) and Elizabeth (16). PC was, and will always be, an incredibly special place for us.
