The late Dorothy Brown of Summerville is being inducted posthumously into the William Plumer Jacobs Society at the President’s Society level for establishing a planned gift for Presbyterian College and for giving to the Promise of PC campaign.

Brown passed away on Feb. 27, 2019, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Lore S. Brown Jr. A homemaker, she was a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church and was active with Presbyterian Women.

Two of her nephews were PC alumni – Major George Camp Jr. ’77 of Columbia and Hugh Camp ’03 of Greenwood. Her great-nephew is currently attending PC.
